Hawaii Adventure

Hawaii Adventure

Aloha!

This post is WAY past due, but better late than never right? Back in June Chase and I took a trip to the beautiful state of Hawaii with his family! We flew into Oahu and stayed there for 3 1/2 days, then island hopped to Maui and stayed there for about 3 days. Here is a little photo travel diary of our trip!

Day 1:

Pearl Harbor

Luau-which is a must! It was really cool to learn about the Hawaiian culture and eat yummy food of course!

Day 2:

A day filled with exploring the North Shore and hanging out at the beach!

(We saw sea turtles–MADE my life!)

(The acai bowls are WAY better in Hawaii!!)

Day 3:

Not many pictures! Chase explored the island by riding bikes with his brother, while the girls went shopping!! This lemonade shop was SO cute! There were tons of different flavors to choose from. And look at the fun glass cup!

Day 4:

Island hopped to Maui!

The pork is AMAZING!

We got coffee every chance we could!

Day 5:

Chase and I got to spend the day snorkeling!!!

Day 6:

Haleakalā National Park

Day 7:

One final acai bowl and saying goodbye to the beach!

Charleston Trip

Charleston Trip

Chase and I had been planning a weekend trip to Charleston with two other couples since November and the timing was perfect. We needed to get away for the weekend, explore a new city, and spend time with our good friends! I’ve visited Charleston once before, but it was years ago for an afternoon when my family was on vacation at Edisto Beach. I had been wanting to go again so we decided to take this trip and it would be our Valentines/birthday gift to each other!

There were two things I knew I wanted to do:

1.Stay in a bed and breakfast

1837 Bed and Breakfast worked out perfectly! It had the old Charleston charm and was so close to everything! Everyone loved the rooms, cute porch with rocking chairs, and yummy breakfast they served each morning!

2.See all the colorful houses and explore downtown.

We definitely accomplished this! On Saturday we walked all day around Charleston; ate a yummy lunch in one of the parks, walked down Rainbow Row, explored Waterfront Park, and then shopped at The Market.

Yes I am wearing shorts in February! We had the BEST weather!

After walking around Charleston, I am now obsessed with flower boxes! ALL of the houses had them!! The London Bungalow will be having a flower box in the near future!

Colorful houses are my love language

Chase’s breakfast the first morning: Pineapple upside down french toast, sausage balls, and fruit!

Our sweet friends! So blessed they are in our lives!

Sunday we had breakfast, packed up our cars and went to the South Carolina Aquarium before we headed home that afternoon!

It was a wonderful weekend.

xoxo,
